Welcome back to Term 3
As we begin Term 3 at St Mary's College, I would like to extend a warm welcome back to all our students, staff and families. I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating holiday break.
This term is shaping up to be another exciting and busy chapter in our school year, filled with enriching events and activities that showcase the vibrant spirit of our community.
A special milestone awaits our Year 12 students as they celebrate their final 50 days at St Mary's College on Thursday 7 August. This is a significant moment in their educational journey, and we look forward to honouring their achievements and contributions.
This term saw the introduction of the College's Junior School bus service on the Eastern Shore, operating both mornings and afternoons. For more details about this pilot program, please refer to the Take Note section of this edition of the Fountain.

Preparations are well underway for the upcoming Mini Winter Festival, taking place next Friday 8 August. The organising committee has curated a fantastic evening for the whole family, featuring a wide array of food options and entertainment from both our Junior and Senior School students. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the talents and diversity of our College.
There's still time to register your attendance – simply click here to sign up. For more information, please visit the event page on our website.
In addition, we are honoured to host the Installation of our new Archbishop, Anthony Ireland, on Tuesday 12 August at St Mary's College Cathedral. This is a significant and historical occasion for our students and the wider community, and we are proud to be part of such a meaningful moment in the life of the Church.
We look forward to a term filled with learning, celebration and connection.
