RSC Short Course Meet

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our RSC Short Course Meet on Sunday 3rd August such a success!

Our big meets simply can't happen without the support of volunteers, and we’re incredibly grateful to each of you who gave your time to help on the day. Whether it was timekeeping, marshalling, check starting, catering, fundraising, BBQing, announcing, setting up, packing down, or jumping in wherever needed. Your efforts ensured the event ran smoothly and created a positive experience for all involved.

A special thank you also to the senior swimmers and parents who weren’t racing but still came along to help. We truly appreciate your dedication to the club.

We're proud to share that this was one of our most successful fundraising efforts to date, raising an incredible $2,428 for the club! These funds will go a long way in supporting our swimmers and continuing to grow RSC.

We also want to extend a massive thank you to our amazing coaches for guiding and supporting our swimmers throughout the day. Their energy, encouragement, and leadership make such a difference, and it showed! Our swimmers performed exceptionally well, with many achieving PBs and state qualifying times!

One of the highlights of the day was hearing our swimmers cheer each other on from the side of the pool. It truly shows how amazing our swimmers are and the strong sense of camaraderie within our club.

Other clubs often comment on how well-run and welcoming our meets are, which is a testament to the strength of our RSC community. The atmosphere on the day was fantastic. Swimmers loved the new-look medals, and it was so lovely to see the smiles, celebrations, and fun photos happening in front of our media wall.
