Confirmation Reflection Day

Last Friday, our Confirmation candidates took part in a Reflection Day as part of their preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Throughout the day, students engaged in a range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of the Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit, helping them to reflect on how these can be lived out in their daily lives. The day also provided time for prayer, reflection, and rehearsal, ensuring our candidates felt both spiritually and practically prepared for their special celebration this Friday

Confirmation Family Evening

On Wednesday evening, our Confirmation candidates and their parents gathered for a special Family Evening in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Families from both Emmaus and St Christopher’s parish communities came together for an evening of reflection, prayer, and information. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to share in meaningful conversation about faith and the promises made at Baptism. Together, each family decorated a Confirmation candle and wrote a personal blessing to accompany it, a symbol that will continue to shine brightly on their journey of faith.
