Foundation Swimming Program

Our first week of the Foundation Swimming Program has been completed. Unfortunately it was wet and the student had to travel by bus. Hopefully tomorrow will be a drier day for students to walk to Heather’s. Just a reminder to parents/guardians, if you are attending the swimming lessons at any stage, you need to have a Working With Children Check. If the school has not yet sighted this, can you please bring it into the school office or email it to office@shcolac.catholic.edu.au

Winter Sport Round 1

During Term 3, our Year 5 and 6 students will participate in the Winter Sport Program. This consists of students playing a variety of sports against another local school on a Friday between recess and lunch. Last Friday our students played sport with Colac West and St Brendan’s Primary School. Students participated in one of the following sports: football, netball, soccer, hot shots tennis and mixed games.

Winter Sport Round 2

This Friday 1st August, we welcome Elliminyt to our school. Students are reminded to wear their sports uniform and bring the appropriate gear for their sport. The sports are football, netball, soccer, badminton, hot shots and down ball. Drink bottles are essential. If we have parents/guardians who can assist with umpiring on the day, please let me know.

A reminder to helpers, you must hold a current ‘Working With Children Check’ and the school office has sighted or email it to office@shcolac.catholic.edu.au
