GIRLS WOODLANDS DIVISION SOCCER TOURNAMENT

On Friday August 1st, the 5/6 Girls went to Woodlands Division Soccer.

In the first pool, we played against 2 different schools, Oscar Romero Catholic PS (Craigieburn) and St Anne's (Sunbury). 

In the first match against Oscar Romero, we won 1-0. In the second match, we won 5-1.

These results meant we won our pool and progressed to the Semi-Final.

We met Hume Anglican Grammar School in the Semi Final. The score was 0-0 so we went to penalties, where we unfortunately lost 1-3.

All team members played the matches so well. It was a hard tournament, but we showed the Meadows PS values of Respect, Responsibility and most importantly, Resilience. 

Thank you to our family and friends who came down to watch. We look forward to competing again next year!
