SJV Concert 2025

A Night at the Museum

🎭 School Concert Update – Term 3 🎭

We’re so excited as our school concert is fast approaching!

Here’s everything you need to know to help you and your child/ren get concert-ready:

📅 Concert Dates:

Our performances will be held on:Tuesday 9th September and Wednesday 10th September

  • Students with surnames A–L are scheduled to perform on Tuesday 9th September (Night One)

  • Students with surnames M–Z will perform on Wednesday 10th September (Night Two)

🎶 Rehearsals Are in Full Swing!

Students are doing a fabulous job learning their dances and bringing energy and excitement to every rehearsal. We’re now beginning to polish our choreography and work on stage positioning and transitions. It’s shaping up to be an amazing show and we can’t wait to share it with you!

👗 Costume Reminder

You will have received costume information for your child/ren’s performance. Please ensure that all costume items are brought to school by Friday 8th August named and in a bag clearly labeled with your child’s name and class

We will add the finishing touches, including any accessories or props, to help bring each character to life. Having costumes at school early allows us to run dress rehearsals in the lead-up to the event.

👗Concert Costume Helpers Needed

We are looking for parents, guardians, or grandparents to assist with enhancing costumes for our upcoming concert. Tasks include basic sewing, cutting and folding cardboard, gluing items together, and sorting and collating costumes.

We will be running these workshops on

Thursday afternoons (3:15–4:15pm) on Thursday 7th, 14th, and 21st of August to begin with, and may add more if needed.

A current Working With Children Check (WWC) is required to participate.

If you can spare some time, we would love your help!

Please contact Carlie Dowley, Performing Arts Teacher, via email (cdowley@sjvmulgrave.catholic.edu.au) if you are able to assist.

Thank you for your continued support — we can’t wait to see you there for a night of celebration, creativity, and fun!
