Next week our focus is I am respectful when I use kind words and actions always and everywhere.

  • Using good manners, such as please and thank you
  • Using kind gestures 
  • Saying sorry and meaning it
  • Giving positive comments - Filling others buckets
  • Giving constructive feedback
  • Asking someone: “Are you okay?”

 

  • Put Downs - Commenting on the way people look or act, including race 
  • Inappropriate gestures or words you idiot ect 
  • Being too physical - hitting , pushing, kicking
  • Excluding others
  • Answering back or making fun of someone else's answer

Our grade 5/6's will also be reviewing ' I am respectful when I follow the ICT Agreement everywhere and always'.

  • Use devices and work on the internet for purposes specified by my teacher
  • Follow school guidelines and procedures when using technology
  • Use devices and the internet in a responsible and safe manner
  • Take care when using and storing away devices
  • Use the technology at school for learning
  • Keep my personal information such as usernames, passwords, address, photos etc. private
  • Immediately report any issues and or cyber safety incidents to a teacher
  • Never distribute, store or post online photos, images or movies created using digital equipment at school without first checking with my teacher

 

  • Delete or modify apps, content or programs that are on the devices
  • Interfere with the work or data of another student
  • Use their school account to sign up to websites and/or programs unless specified by the teacher
  • Bring or download unauthorized programs, including games and apps, to school or run them on school computers
  • Exchange or give out personal details including username and passwords to other students, friends, family members (excluding parents) and/or siblings
