Foundation, Grade 1’s and 2’s spent weeks 6 and 7 continuing their gymnastics unit, learning some new jumping and rolling techniques during their gymnastic stations. They have been doing an amazing job at working in small groups to achieve each gymnastic station, and at attempting their partner balance card which always have them giggling away as they grapple with their balance when relying on another.
Grade 3/4’s have continued their Rogaining unit, where they are showing more and more teamwork skills each week - what an amazing result!
Grade 5/6’s have tested their fitness levels, and learned that this is an important skill for life long health and fitness, something that will help us in many areas of our lives! They also set achievable goals and a plan to achieve them by the end of term 4.
We had a great day at the District Athletics on Wednesday at Casey Fields. Everyone showed determination and resilience when competing in their events - a few of us got ribbons!
It was wonderful to have so many parents join us and offer to help out - thank you!
Mrs Howard did a fabulous job running the High Jump and Long Jump events.
We all had a great day, despite the howling wind!
