Book Week 2024

What a fabulous turn out we had for the 2024 Book Week Parade! It was amazing to see so many dressed up as their favourite book characters. It was wonderful to see so many kinder students join in with the parade on Wednesday too - we hope they had a great time! 

Along with our annual Book Week parade, students gathered in their PBS Groups each afternoon for an activity and reading of one of this year's CBCA Picture Story books. 

We made birds with arms (That Bird Has Arms), drew our inner spirit animals (Every Night at Midnight) and created our own concrete garden with chalk (The Concrete Garden)! 

A huge thank you to Mrs Howard, Mackenzie, Lucy and Amelia for organising and running the parade, to Kate for organising the book vouchers and a special thank you to Just One More Page in Garfield for their generous donation of books to give away as prizes.

It was a great day!
