Learning Community 2

We had a great Book Week last week! Thank you to all the families who helped created some amazing costumes - it was great to see so many dressed up! 

We have moved into Time and Mapping in Maths. We refreshed and revised quarter to and past, and have learned about flips, slides and turns as well as coordinates and mapping. We have made our own 'Name Islands' this week, complete with scales and legends. 

We have made our way inside the Wonka Chocolate Factory in Reading! We have listened to descriptions of the Chocolate Room, drawn what we visualised, and made a map of Loompaland. We are getting excited to watch the movie at the end of term. 

Diary writing finished last week, we are now moving into a new writing genre - comics! 

We have started by diving deep into comics - looking at the layout, the speech and text structure. In the coming weeks we will strive to create our own! 

Lastly, congratulations to the 4s who represented Bunyip at the District Aths. We are so proud of you all!
