School Hats On - 1st September

Next week we celebrate the start of Spring and need to see all students wearing their hats during recess, lunchtime and sport sessions. This is a feature of our school Sunsmart policy.  If your hat has disappeared over the Winter break they are available from the Primary School Wear, you can order online, or in person at the PSW shop: 1 Age Street, Cheltenham.

 

Students are required to wear a school hat or another hat style that protects the face, neck and ears when outdoors, for example broad-brimmed, legionnaire or bucket. Students who are not wearing appropriate protective clothing or a hat may be asked to play in the shade or in a suitable area protected from the sun.  

 

Please check hats are labelled legibly to enable a lost hat to be returned to it’s owner.

Scholastic Book Club - Issue 6 out now 

The Book Club Issue 6 has now been sent home with your child. Families who order books on Issue 6 will earn a $5 promo code that can then be used on Issue 7. And don't forget that those of you who ordered Issue 5 items already have a $5 promo code to spend on Issue 6!

 

Please note that these promotions apply to orders made online via LOOP only.

 

The due date for Issue 6 orders is Friday 30 August 2024.

 

Ordering from Book Club is easy! Simply go online and place your order using LOOP online or using the app:

  2. Look up “Scholastic” on the App Store or Google Play to find “Book Club Loop for Parents”

As always, you can continue to order from this issue after the school close off date, but delivery of the books will be made directly to your home and not to school (and will incur a charge of $10.00).

100 years - pin badge/Centenary Parkdale Primary School Cookbook

 

Our commemorative pin badges are still on sale for $5 and our Centenary cookbook for $30. Both items can be ordered via Qkr! (under the 'Centenary Keepsake' tab) and will be issued at the end of each week to the student whose name they have been ordered under. Alternatively you can pop in and buy a badge from the office (card payments only please).
