Grade 5 and 6 students began the term with a Martial Arts themed unit, learning about movement and control. They will be incorporating these movements into their performance, which is based on the movie Shrek!
Students have also begun a unit on creating rap lyrics as part of their performance, writing from the perspective of a character from Shrek. The Arts Extravaganza performance will give them the opportunity to showcase not only their lyric writing, but also their rapping, acting and some dance skills as well.
