Visual Art news
Lots of our clever students have been very busy completing various projects just in time for Father’s Day.
Foundation students designed amazing fridge magnets in all the colours of the rainbow. Grade one and two students created adorable (and occasionally hilarious) pet rocks, complete with googly eyes. Quite a few featured Dad’s footy colours and some hilarious names were given to our new rocky pals.
Grade three to six students continued their exploration of printmaking and steampunk style as well. We have an ever-growing gallery of robotic-looking creations at the back of the Art room. Students are loving steampunk style and have explored the works of Bruce Rosenbaum and his distinctive steam punk creations.
Our efforts in the next two weeks will focus on finalising pieces for the Macedon Primary Expo in week nine. Make sure you come along and join us for some steam punk fun!!
