Student of the Week

P.E. -  Sione 5B Sione consistently shows an excellent attitude during P.E. He always endeavours to try his best and demonstrates exemplary sportsmanship.

Visual Arts - Vishwak 5B Vishwak showed great resilience and determination in the face of disappointment in art.  He reimagined his articulated fish and turned it into a different, but interesting, art work. He exemplified the school value of “Resilience”. Great job Vishwak!

Aniva 2B- Aniva Aniva did an incredible job creating her dry clay ‘tribal mask’ inspired relief face. She used all of the techniques and was very focused, showing great pride in her work. She exemplified the school value of “Be a Learner’ Congratulations Aniva and well done!

Performing Arts - Amos 6B for displaying an awesome performance whilst DJing and being of great assistance during the Book Week Parade. Well done for demonstrating outstanding pride, collaboration and passion for music and I look forward to many more performances to come this year!

Chinese - Audrey 3C Audrey is a great role  model for her class. She always tries to answer questions and participate in class. She shows respect to teachers and classmates and follows instructions. Well done and keep it up!

 

LLI (Years 3, 4 & 5) - Felix. P 3B Felix you did an excellent job with your reading test this week in LLI. Keep working hard and demonstrate resilience and determination in class.

LLI (Years 2) - Linda 2A Linda has been recognised for confidently sharing her thoughts and ideas during book discussions in LLI. She arrives with an enthusiastic attitude to her lessons and works collaboratively with the other students in her Reading group.

 

6A - Lily This award is for her positive attitude towards all learning areas and for being a fantastic leader to other students. Keep it up!

6B - Hanna This award is for consistently showing a positive mindset

towards learning and giving each activity 100% effort.

 

5A - Aaron for showing persistence and resilience in the classroom. Learning English is hard, and you are doing an amazing job listening to instructions, asking for help and trying to work independently. I have noticed that you are showing more focus and engagement in the classroom tasks and beginning to willingly share your thoughts. Great job Aaron!

5B - John for being a great role model, consistently demonstrating our school values. He displayed great resilience and integrity in his learning, attempting all tasks to the best of his ability. He also contributed to creating a supportive and respectful learning environment. Well done, John!

5C - Jeslyn has been chosen by her peers for being a good friend and always showing pride in her work. Thank you for demonstrating our school values, and being a great role model. Keep up the great work. 

 

4A - Rose for being such a wonderful learner. She approaches every task with effort and enthusiasm. Her book work is outstanding as she pays attention to detail and follows our book expectations precisely. You are an excellent role model to your peers! Congratulations Rose!

4B - Abdul has been chosen by his peers for being a kind and good friend. It is lovely to see you have built some great friendships with your peers and are treating them with respect.

4C - Vincci for being a great role model, consistently demonstrating our school values. She displayed great resilience and integrity in her learning, attempting all tasks to the best of her ability. She also contributed to creating a supportive and respectful learning environment. Well done, Vincci!

 

3A - Hanna for taking pride in her learning and work pieces. She produced a well planned out diagram of a life cycle and should be very pleased with herself. Well done, Hanna!

3C - Elissa regularly participating and contributing to class discussions. Well done for  being brave and taking pride in your achievements.

 

2A - Syleena for writing a sentence with a full stop at the end and sounding out words independently! Well done Syleena!

2B - Faneend for consistently displaying the Deer Park West school values and for her effort in all learning areas especially Mathematics. Keep it up Faneend.

2C - Catherine for always displaying the school values and always putting her best effort into all her learning tasks. Well done, Catherine! Keep up the amazing work.

 

1A - Rosa for demonstrating our school value of resilience. She has been confident in following the daily routines and asks for help when needed. Well done Rosa, Keep it up!

1B -  Kyrie for taking pride in his learning and working hard to improve on his Writing and Numeracy skills this week. You should be very proud of yourself, keep up the good work Kyrie!

 

FA - Sinthiya for working hard to learn how to read CVC words. Well done! 

FB - Aekam for demonstrating integrity. Aekam consistently does what is expected of her at all times. She always offers to help her teacher and peers. Aekam has been a great helper in FB. Thank you Aekam!
