Term 3 is shaping up to be a huge term for our Stage 3 students.

Recently, they have been working on the finishing touches for their 4 minute speeches due in week 5 and 6, ready to present to their class.

Stage 3 students have also been getting excited for their upcoming 2 night camp at the Great Aussie Bush Camp in Lake Macquarie. There is lots for them to do - think about their cabin groups, packing their bags and pondering the many adventurous activities they (and the teachers!) will get to participate in.

Students that don’t attend PSSA have also been walking to Strathfield South High School and doing some PE workshops with their students and teachers. Some of the games included: Capture the Flag, Basketball, Soccer and Futsal.

“I’m looking forward to doing a few more games next week!” - Maksim, year 5

“It was very fun, especially interacting with the high school students. They were very fair!” - Charley and Ethan, year 5.

“The high schoolers were really nice” Inayah, year 5.

“The games were pretty fun and the students were nice too” Ali, year 5.

As part of our Social and Emotional Learning program this Semester, our Year 6 students have buddied up with Year 2 classes in a combined lesson. Students enjoy working with each other and being a role model.

In week 4, our Stage 3 students also had their Stage Reward Day, as they have filled up the entire Stage 3 cylinder (that is a lot of tokens!). Students voted on having extra play and this included sports and games on the grass, in the 3-6 COLA, at the multi-purpose courts and a nice board games and relaxing time in the Yarning Circle. Our students have definitely been safe, respectful and active learners! Keep it up Stage 3!
