Ms Fan

Stage 3 Choir

26 students from our Stage 3 Choir performed at the Sydney Opera House, as part of the Festival of Choral Music. Students rehearsed and performed 10 songs alongside 600 other NSW public school students. It is one of the Department of Education’s Art Unit’s largest music festivals! Despite the weather, their experience was amazing and they are so thankful for such an incredible opportunity - performing at the world famous Sydney Opera House.

Well done to all students for being dedicated, with countless practises at home and at school during their lunch time. Stay tuned for future performances by our Stage 3 Choir students at school events.

Have a think if you’d like your child to be involved next year!

Viola Extraordinaire

Our talented School Captain Lorelai Chung, viola player extraordinaire, was part of the NSW Public Schools’ Festival Orchestra who performed at 5 concerts across the week of the Festival of Choral Music.

How amazing to be a part of a spectacular experience at the Sydney Opera House!

Athletics Carnival

On Monday of Week 2, our Years 3-6 gathered at the Sydney Olympic Park Warm-Up Track for an exciting Athletics Carnival. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by our students were remarkable as they competed in a variety of events. Every student gave their best effort, whether they were running, jumping, or throwing.

A special congratulations goes out to Barangaroo House, the winning house of the day! Your collective effort and outstanding performances have earned you the top spot—well done!

We are also thrilled to announce that from our carnival, over 50 students have qualified to represent our school at the Western Suburbs PSSA Athletics Carnival, which will take place on Monday, 2 September at Sydney Olympic Park Warm Up Arena. These students have already been informed of the events they will be competing in, and permission notes will be emailed out shortly.

Thank you to all the students, staff, and families who contributed to making this carnival a success. We look forward to cheering on our representatives at the PSSA in the coming weeks.
