Principal's message

Dear Parents and Carers,

Thank you to the families that have supported their child to attend the Swimming Program next week. This is such an important part of our curriculum as a focus of the program is to teach students how to stay safe in and around water. Whilst many of our students may be able to swim, this skill alone does not ensure their safety when in the water.

We are delighted to announce that following our Wakakirri Troupe performance on Thursday 8 August, the troupe have been selected as one of six schools to perform again on Wednesday 4 September at the Wakakirri Awards Night. This is a fabulous opportunity for our students.  We wish the staff and students involved every success on the night.

The refurbishment of the Admin Building is moving along. The work will result in the resolution of a number of maintenance issues including the replacement of a failing roof, gutters and down pipes along with increased shade structures, garden areas and a safer pedestrian entry into the school.

Whilst the building work is underway, please be patient and mindful of vehicles when entering and exiting the school grounds.

A reminder that the school and OSHC Service are CLOSED on Monday 2 September and will re-open on Tuesday 3 September.

Kind regards,

Terena Pope
