A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

Last Friday was a great day at St Brendan’s with a dress up day to celebrate Book Week.

The students looked fantastic and there was great excitement watching all the students parade. The teachers looked great in their costumes which delighted the students.

Many thanks to parents, grandparents and friends that came to watch the parade. Special thanks for the parents for getting their children ready. There were lots of wonderful costumes.

Thanks to parents and friends for organisng the coffee van and thanks to Mr. 0’Hara for the music.

Great video on our Facebook page which is thanks to Mr. Brian and Miss Seccull.

Parent teaching learning conversations

Thanks to parents who made a booking to either meet face to face or phone conversation with your child’s teacher. These interviews are always very valuable, and we ask that if you haven’t made a time, you can meet the teacher before school or arrange a phone call.

Parents & Friends

Well done to Parents and Friends for the pie drive. There were many orders which was very pleasing. Thanks to all the parents that helped with packing the pies for the families and students for delivering them to the classrooms.

Sacramental Children

This Friday and Saturday evening masses and Sunday at 11:00 am, our children will be making their Confirmation and Eucharist. I would like to congratulate them on such a special occasion and we will keep them in our prayers.

Assembly

This week we will have a short Assembly on Thursday 22nd August at 2.30 in the courtyard. Mr. Secchi and Mrs. Anderson 3/4 classes will be organising assembly prayer and there will be a card presentation to the Sacramental students. MJR Awards will also be announced. Father Jackson will be in attendance.

On Friday we will be having a Professional development day for Staff. It will be a pupil free day for all students.

Andre Hillbrick, educational consultant will be working with the staff on Spelling and Grammar. Thanks for your understanding
