Volunteer Appreciation
We are very grateful for our generous volunteers who contribute to our school in so many varied ways. We would like to shine a light on four volunteers who recently assisted us during the HSC exam period, supporting our students with special provisions - Mrs Michelle Hall, Mrs Tracie Pearson (both past parents), Mrs Jo-Anne and Mr Murray Macdonald (grandparents). A very big thank you for the many hours you all spent at our school assisting our students in August.
The HSC exams commence on Tuesday 15 October and finish on Friday 8 November. If you would like to volunteer as an Exam Reader for students with special provisions, we would be very grateful for support on the following days:
Tuesday 15 October (9:50am - 11:30am)
Wednesday 16 October (9:25am - 11:30am)
Monday 21 October (9:20am - 12:30pm)
There will also be some other days and times during this period where your support would be appreciated. Please contact Ms Kylie Moon via Main Reception or email kmoon@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au to express your interest.
Today’s Father’s Day breakfast was a wonderful success, and was made possible due to the contribution of many of our Parents and Friends volunteers, students and staff. Thank you to everyone who assisted to make the morning such a success.
Thank you to our Sponsors
At this mornings Father's Day Breakfast, there were 11 lucky winners in our Father's Day raffle. Congratulations to school mum and staff member, Jenna Anderson on winning the first prize, which was a socket set donated by Klein Tools. This fabulous prize was valued at $350. Thank you to all who purchased tickets, and to our very generous sponsors including OPA, Rich Glen Olive Estate, Kyabram Fauna Park, Riverbank Moama, Carriages Wine, Moama RSL and Three Black Sheep. Your generous support has helped us to raise almost $1,500 for our Multi-Purpose Stadium. Thank you also to Moama Bakery for your support of this event.
Stadium Fundraising & Donations
We are delighted to announce that the school has received very generous donations this week. We are immensely grateful to the Moama Bowling Club who donated $20,000 and Rich River Golf Club for donating $16,000. We have also received a pledge of $10,000 from a current school family, a $4,000 and a $1,000 donation from two past families. Thank you also to several Moama Anglican Grammar staff who are donating through the School’s Workplace Giving Program to the School Building Fund. If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation, please contact me via Main Reception or by emailing sbarry@moamagrammar.nsw.edu.au. Every donation, no matter how small or large will make a difference! Thank you for your support.
Connecting with the Gunbower Community
This week members of our Executive Team enjoyed a special 150 years High Tea Celebration with the Gunbower community. We are looking forward to engaging in more community activities in Gunbower and the surrounds, and forming strong relationships that will assist in the activation of Gunbower Estate, for the benefit of our current and future students.
