Book Week

The theme for Book Week this year was Reading is Magic. Students and staff enjoyed a number of fun activities to celebrate Book Week including our Short Story Writing Competition, Movie, and Character Dress Up Day.

The theme for next year has just been announced, Book an Adventure, and we have already started planning for some fun activities for 2025!

Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Premiers' Reading Challenge finishes next Friday 6th September. It has been great to see so many students participating this year and a large number of students successfully completing the reading challenge.

We look forward to celebrating with students who complete the challenge at our end of year pizza party!

Don't worry, you still have time to add books that you have recently finished reading.

Scholastic Book Club - Issue 6

Book Club Issue 6 is now available from the library and the school office.

Let Book Club help you keep the reading rolling all year long!

There’s so much more to Book Club than just buying books. By participating, you are making a huge difference in your child’s life through books and reading, and your purchase gives Scholastic Rewards back to your school for additional learning and literacy resources. Your child will love receiving their new books at school – books they’ve chosen themselves, sparking a wonderful reading journey.

Book Club helps Australian families grow into reading and grow through reading and has helped raise generations of lifelong readers for over 50 years.
