PEDAL PUSH
BIKE SAFETY DAY
Friday 6th September is Bike Safety Day for students in Years 3-6 in preparation for Pedal Push at the end of term. Bike and road safety are part of the NSW PDHPE syllabus so all students will be involved in the learning on this day - having bikes checked as well as participating in safe riding activities.
- We will have the volunteer services of a bicycle mechanic from Renshaw’s Pedal Project as well as experienced parents on site to check student bikes to ensure all are roadworthy.
- Below is the checklist that all bikes MUST pass before students participate in the on-road course for Pedal Push.
- Please do a preliminary safety check BEFORE Bike Safety Day.
- NB: No scooters on this day.
