Principal’s Message
Mrs Claire Ryan
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome to Week 7's newsletter.
As part of our Spiritual Retreat session at the recent Principal's Conference, we were asked to write an open letter to our school community expressing our hopes, dreams, expectations, and commitment to actively participating in the learning and development journey. I want to share my letter with you:
Dear Students, Staff, and Families,
As we embark on this new chapter together, I want to express my hopes and dreams for each of you and share my vision for the journey ahead. Our collective role in the growth and development of our students is paramount, and I am confident that together, we can create a nurturing environment for their learning.
To our students: You are the heart of our school, and my greatest hope is that you grow not only in knowledge but also in confidence and character. I want you to embrace the curiosity that makes learning an adventure. Believe in your ability to overcome challenges and understand that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. I encourage you to be kind, to ask questions, and to support one another as you explore new ideas and develop your talents.
To our staff: You are the foundation upon which our students' futures are built. My dream is for you to continue inspiring, challenging, and nurturing each child who walks through our doors. I expect you to approach each day with dedication, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. In turn, I pledge to support your professional growth and foster an environment where collaboration and innovation thrive. Together, we can create a school culture where every student feels valued and motivated to reach their full potential.
To our families: You are the partners in this journey. My hope is that you feel empowered to be actively involved in your child's education, knowing that your role is vital to their success. I encourage you to communicate openly with our staff, share your insights, and work with us to create a supportive learning environment at school and home. Our collaboration will be key to ensuring that our students are not only academically prepared but also emotionally and socially equipped to navigate the world with confidence.
As a member of this community, I am fully committed to being an active part of your learning and development journey. I will be here to listen, to learn, and to lead with integrity and compassion. Together, let's build a school community where every student grows in confidence, every teacher feels supported and empowered, and every family knows they are an integral part of our shared mission ~ A Catholic professional learning community committed to improving the faith, learning and wellbeing of our students, staff and families. Let's continue to create a culture of respect, responsibility, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
With warm regards and high hopes,
Mrs Ryan

School Improvement Survey
Thank you to the staff and parents who have already taken the time to complete the annual satisfaction survey. They are designed to gather feedback from parents, staff, and students about our school and will be used to inform about school improvement. Responses are confidential, and individuals can not be identified. The surveys were launched via email on Monday, 26 August 2024, using the email addresses supplied to the school. If you did not receive an email with a link to the survey, don't hesitate to contact the school to receive a direct link. The survey will close on Wednesday, 4 September 2024.
