Fluently

Fluency refers to continuity, smoothness, rate, and effort while reading. When reading fluently it sounds like a conversation rather than robotic or staccato.


ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child read aloud a play, poem or a book and practise multiple times in the same sentence. Students try to improve something each time. They can improve by adding expression or changing the pace.
