School Council met on Wednesday 8th May 2024 onsite. Some notables discussion points include:

- Hire of School Facilities
- Solar panel update per functionality, usage and costings

CSPS community feedback
We received approximately 11 responses to the 6 questions relative to Effective Teaching and Teacher Communication. There was an overwhelming show of support and positive comments, aswell as areas that we can continue to improve. As a result of the survey, the areas of further need relates to communication and understanding relative to the following:
- Compass Learning Tasks
- School Reports
- Parent Teacher Interviews
- Individual Education Plans
CSPS is also interested in exploring further ways to increase opportunities for students to delve into areas of personal interest at school
Child Safe
We are committed to making sure every member of our school community, regardless of their background or personal attributes, is treated with respect and dignity. CSPS will:
- actively nurture and promote a culture where everyone is treated with respect and dignity
- ensure that students are not discriminated against (directly or indirectly) and where necessary, are reasonably accommodated to participate in their education and school activities on the same basis as their peers
- acknowledge and respond to the diverse needs, identities and strengths of all students
- encourage empathy and fairness towards others
- challenge stereotypes that promote prejudicial and biased behaviours and practices
- contribute to positive learning, engagement and wellbeing outcomes for students
- respond to complaints and allegations appropriately and ensure that students are not victimised.
