As we bid farewell to the first term of high school, it's time to celebrate the achievements, growth, and resilience of our Year 7 students. Congratulations on successfully completing your inaugural term in high school!
This term has been filled with exciting challenges, new experiences, and valuable lessons learned. From navigating timetables to mastering the intricacies of different subjects, all of our students have shown remarkable dedication and adaptability.
At our Year 7 assembly this week, we celebrated some of our student achievements, which included announcing our inaugural Mission Action Team that Mrs Hughes mentioned in her section of the newsletter, and also issued certificates of achievement to nominated Year 7 students. These awards that were given are centred around the pillars of resilience: Gratitude, Empathy & Mindfulness from The Resilience Project and supported by ‘Mavericks’ in Caringbah where these students are awarded with a free burger or wrap.
Congratulations:
For displaying gratitude at school | For showing empathy and kindness at school | For being mindful and in the moment at school |
Zoe Pontey | Ava Perchtold | Stefan Bilic |

As we approach the well-deserved break, we encourage both students and parents to take this time to unwind, recharge, and spend quality moments together. It's essential to cherish these moments of relaxation and reflection, allowing yourselves to rejuvenate for the term ahead.
Moreover, this break offers an excellent opportunity to get organised for the upcoming term. Year 7 students, consider taking a glance at your assessment schedule, ensuring you're prepared for the academic challenges awaiting you. Additionally, try on your winter uniforms to ensure a comfortable fit and gather all necessary materials, ensuring your books and supplies are neatly organised for a smooth return to school.
We are confident that the second term holds even more exciting opportunities for growth and learning. Together, let's approach it with enthusiasm, determination, and a commitment to excellence.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable break, filled with cherished memories and moments of relaxation.
