On Thursday, 4 April, students from St. Aloysius parish convened at the College to embark on their journey towards Confirmation. Guided by the Year 12 Lasallian leaders, these young individuals delved into the rich tapestry of saints, seeking inspiration for their own spiritual journey. With guidance from the leaders, the students meticulously researched the qualities of their chosen saints, aiming to integrate these virtues into their own lives.
In a creative endeavour, each student crafted a personalised shield, symbolising their understanding of their selected saint and the virtues they embody. Facilitated by the dedicated leadership of Miss Gamsaragan and Evan Souris, the students successfully completed their shield and also developed a great understanding of their saint.
Congratulations are in order for the exceptional students who have been chosen to pave the path forward as Year 7 leaders, lending their support to the senior Lasallian Leaders of the College.
This initiative marks a significant step towards empowering Year 7 students, granting them a platform to actively engage in social justice endeavours. The overwhelming response received from the students via the Google form underscores the remarkable nature of this group, showcasing their outstanding potential and commitment.
In recognition of their leadership roles, the selected students will be presented with badges in term 2, during a special weekly mass held at the College. Parents will be cordially invited to witness this momentous occasion, celebrating their children's dedication and contribution to the school community.
