What a busy, interesting and active term it has been for all of our students at Croydon SDS! It has been great to see our Early Education students start and settle into the program. Our Foundation students are now attending school 5 days a week and are participating and enjoying their learning activities. Students across our primary school are actively engaging with their learning programs.
Secondary students have been demonstrating their developing independence and enjoying further building their peer relationships.
Students in our transition section of the school are focussing on building their skills and knowledge to support them when they leave school. Participation in community based activities such as Meals on Wheels and Interschool sports has enabled them to develop relationships and work with people outside of the school environment.
Well done to all of our students and staff for your efforts this term. I would like to wish everyone a relaxing break and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday 15th April ready for term 2.
Our swimming program has finished for this term and the pool will be closed next week.
It has been great to see students really enjoying their water based experiences in both the hydrotherapy and swimming programs and developing both their confidence and skills.
The swimming program will start again at the start of term 2.
