Year 3-6 District Athletics

Congratulations to all the Year 3-6 students that competed in the district athletics on Tuesday 13 August.

The students represented the school amazingly and this event turned out to be our most successful athletics ever with a record number of students qualifying for the division event. Our school also finished 3rd overall which is our highest ever finish. One highlight of the day was after the first race. One of our students, Ziggy, won the race and instead of celebrating the win, he proceeded to shake the hand of every other student that crossed the line behind him. It was such a great show of sportsmanship and made us all very proud.  Well done Ziggy!!

Thanks to all the staff and parents that attended and helped, these days are only successful because of you.

Year 7-9 Basketball

During Week 4, our secondary students in Years 7-9 had an exciting excursion to the AWA Stadium, where they participated in a basketball competition organised by Basketball Victoria. Competing against local schools such as Nelson Park, Merri River, and even each other, our students eagerly embraced the opportunity to showcase their skills.

The day was a fantastic display of teamwork, communication, and school spirit. While the primary focus was on community building, we're proud to announce that our students achieved remarkable success, securing 2nd place in Division 1 and 3rd place in Division 3. Well done to all our secondary students!
