PYP Units of Inquiry

How the world works

 (Year Six Exhibition)

Exploration of interests and passions inspires learning and innovation.

The Year Six students have been building their knowledge on a chosen real-world problem for their PYP Exhibition unit, which represents a culmination of the Primary Years Programme.

They have developed their lines of inquiry and found answers to their wonderings and questions. All groups have defined their problem, inquired into the impacts on society and the environment, and found out about existing initiatives to address their global issue.

Following the design process, all groups will be taking action in numerous ways to promote/solve their global issue. Together as a year level, we have developed Exhibition goals for our audience which have helped students to design their communication material and their Exhibition stand.

Throughout the process, students have planned and managed their time, reflected on their team’s collaboration, evaluated their ideas and communication and made improvements and adjustments along the way.

We look forward to sharing the students’ process, knowledge and design solutions with you at The Year 6 Exhibition Opening Night, on Tuesday 30 July from 3:00-4:30pm.
