Sports News

It’s been a big few weeks of sport.

We had year 7, 8 and Intermediate girls all participate in Eastern Metropolitan Region Soccer. All three teams travelled out to Darebin to the State Football Centre and played round robin games against some very talented other teams.

All three teams performed well and were competitive across all games, it was amazing to watch the girls gain confidence throughout each match and become excited at their progression.

All three days of soccer were full of constant laughs, singing, dancing and lots and lots of sugar.

Senior Boys Netball competed at Eastern Metropolitan Region at Waverley Netball Complex. This group of boys started their journey in year 7 and have continued to develop and progress over the years. They have continuously made it to EMR and are getting closer and closer to progressing through to State. They added some extra height this year with Bailey and Damon joining the ranks which came in handy against a very technical Balwyn side who even on occasions did the defensive lift. The games were close, and the lead went back and forth in all games. Super proud of the way this group of boys play and conduct themselves.

Athletics day is fast approaching. Hope you have all dragged out your bright colours for the event.

Reminder for all students to meet at Ringwood Athletics Track Proclamation Park at 9am.
