Zohab Zee Khan Slam Poet Performance and Workshop

On August 5th spoken word poet Zohab Zee Khan put on a performance for Year 9 and Year 10 students that had opted in. This was followed by a poetry writing workshop for the Year 9 Students.

The visit explored not only Literacy / Poetry / Self expression but also used welfare themes such as Multiculturalism, Bouncing Back from Bullying and Resilience to inspire the Year 9 and 10 students into the world of Slam Poetry.

Big Boot Camp Followed on after the show utilized performance activities and writing exercises designed to teach and develop poetry techniques through self expression. Students produced a performance piece by the end of the boot camp.
