MLA
Last week, the MLA had a wonderful time on their excursion at Healesville Sanctuary. Within our FLL inquiry unit, students have been learning about sustainability, investigating native and introduced plants & animals that impact the Australian landscape.
On the excursion, students attended an educational workshop about Aboriginal cultures and country. During the workshop, they explored different indigenous games, tools and customs. Students enjoyed listening to the local dreaming story about why the Emu doesn't fly. They also attended the Spirt of the Sky, which showcased a range of native Australian birds.
