NAPLAN News

As you may be aware, NAPLAN results were released to schools recently.  Students are assessed using the Australian Curriculum and graded in the four proficiency areas of Exceeding, Strong, Developing and Needs additional support. 

• Exceeding: the student’s result exceeds expectations at the time of testing
• Strong: the student’s result meets challenging but reasonable expectations at the time of testing
• Developing: the student’s result indicates that they are working towards expectations at the time of testing
• Needs additional support: the student’s result indicates that they are not achieving the learning outcomes expected at the time of testing

We are very thrilled to share our students’ NAPLAN results with you. As you can see our school’s results are closely aligned or out performing network and similar schools. Again we continue to have very strong results in Reading, which is very pleasing. These results help give our teachers and school leaders an opportunity to celebrate achievements, assess student progress and realign our learning goals so we can identify areas for growth and support. We are very proud of our students’ results and we hope you share in the students’ fantastic achievements.
