Year 5/6 Learning Reflection

When further developing our narrative writing skills the Grade 5/6 students have been;
sequencing a text by reading parts and noticing the links to the next paragraph, listing character traits and emotions to help us write fun character profiles and sharing these with a buddy.
As part of our Unit of Work, The Giant Jam Sandwich, Grade 5/6 have been continuing to read through our individual class scenes. We have been writing character profiles based on the scenes each class will perform and hot seating characters - writing and asking questions to get to know the characters better.
During our Multiplication and Division lessons, Grade 6 students have been using their knowledge of multiples and factors to explore the tests of divisibility.
Grade 5s have been revisiting the relationship between repeated addition & subtraction and multiplication & division.
