Principal's Report

It’s hard to believe that next week marks the final week of Term 1, and what an exciting week it promises to be! As part of our commitment to social justice and in recognition of Caritas Australia during Lent, we will be holding our Caritas K’s Walk on Monday at 2:15 PM. This event allows our students to take part in a meaningful activity that raises awareness and support for those in need, reinforcing the importance of compassion and service in our school community.
Following the walk, we will hold the much-anticipated Easter Egg Raffle Draw, where some fantastic prizes will be won! A big thank you to our Parents and Friends Association for their hard work in organising this event and to all families who have bought and sold tickets - your support is greatly appreciated. To wrap up the afternoon, our assembly will take place at 2:45 PM on Monday instead of Friday, as our Grade 6 students will be away. Parents are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the wonderful achievements of our students.
Grade 6 Camp
Excitement is building as our Grade 6 students prepare for their much-anticipated camp at Camp Sunnystones near Bacchus Marsh next week!
From Tuesday April 1st our students will enjoy three fantastic days filled with outdoor education activities, teamwork challenges, and plenty of fun in the great outdoors. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to develop independence, build friendships, and create lifelong memories.
I will be attending camp along with five other staff members and we are looking forward to a great time away to complement our Identity statement ‘Leaders for Tomorrow.’
2026 Enrolments
Prep Enrolments open soon for 2026. If you have a sibling beginning school next year, please contact the office for an enrolment form.
Winter Uniform
Students continue to wear their summer school uniform for the remainder of Term 1 and transition into Winter uniform week 3 of Term 2. Our uniform is a key part of our identity, and we ask parents to support us in wearing the correct uniform daily. I often liken wearing the uniform correctly to a sports player not wearing their team’s jumper … it just doesn’t work… and much the same our uniform is important, and we love seeing everyone as part of the team. Our school based uniform shop sells all items via FlexiSchools app. Please note hats are to be worn until the 30th of April.
School Photos
School photos were sent home yesterday. For any families that ordered magnets there has been delays with suppliers and hopefully the magnets will arrive early Term 2.
End of Term Dismissal – Friday at 2:15 PM
A reminder the term will conclude on Friday April 4th at 2:15 PM, and we wish all our students and families a safe and joyful holiday break. May you have a wonderful Easter filled with peace, happiness, and time with loved ones.
Term 2 return & Parent Learning Conversations
A final reminder that Term 2 begins for all children on Monday 28th April (week 2 of the school calendar). Parent Learning conversations will also be taking place in this week. Bookings will open on Tuesday 22nd April.
Thank you for your continued support throughout the term, have a wonderful break and a happy and Holy Easter. We look forward to another great term ahead!
