Sustainability

We saw our St Joseph’s and St Mary’s Community Garden opened last week.
The wonderful Marlene from Bunnings planted with St Joseph's students. The Point Nepean Men's Shed represented by Terry Phippen and Rob Koller and Sue Cashen’s from Mornington Peninsula Shire, Place Maker Grants were also present. Father Bill blessed the garden and parishioner Carmel assisted also. We are very grateful for the enduring support from so many community groups.
A big thank you to Rob Koller, Terry Phippen, Doug McLaine, Yves Salzmann, Garry Kay, Phil Robinson and Jeff Barwick for building and the placement of the wicking box.
Point Nepean Men’s Shed also provided another 22 Hoodie Shelters that were made up by our Student Action Council. Renee Mead from Bird Life Australia, Lisa Williams, Ranger- West - Southern Peninsula Parks and Reserves participated. Once labelled the shelters will be placed out on country.
