GYC School Visit - Friday 21 March for Year 10 students
GYC staff will visit Mount Carmel College to present information about College 2026. All
Year 10 students will attend the presentation with the opportunity to ask questions.

Is the Australian Defence Force (ADF) a possibility for you?
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) recently conducted a presentation for Careers Advisors in Hobart. The session covered various entry pathways, associated requirements, benefits of joining the Forces, available opportunities, and an overview of the ADF Careers website and its resources. Year 10 students will explore ADF opportunities later in the year through their Pathways course. However, those interested in learning more, before making any decisions are encouraged to visit the ADF Careers website. While the minimum entry age is 17, the groundwork for some pathways must begin well in advance.
The ADF also offers work experience in Hobart and hosts Open Days. Details will be provided in the newsletter closer to the dates.
