International Student News

We are very proud of Chan 11M, from Korea, who had great success recently at the District Swimming event with four first ribbons. We love it when our international students show the Aussie spirit and have a go!

Ocean Poem
That, Was my first time seeing the sea. And that was the moment I began to love it. … Blue sea and sky, Look around, They become one thing, They share the same colour As far as the eyes cannot see.
Golden beaches, Blue sea, Have a stark contrast, But, It is also extremely harmonious.
I strolled on the beach, Felt the sea breeze caress my face, Relax in the warmth of the sun, Watch the crashing of the waves, Watch it over and over again, Listen to the sound of the waves crashing. All of these are different from the city, And never experienced. But, At that moment, I was away from the hustle and bustle of the city, forget all my worries and unhappiness, I just stand here peacefully Peacefully,
Peacefully,
I want to press the pause button to keep the beauty of this moment But, Time is like the waves of the sea, Can't keep it. So I dived underwater, To explore deeper, I saw colourful corals that I had never seen before, And different kinds of fish, Large and small in groups, Around me, It felt like I was one with the sea, It was as if it was my home I swam into the depths. Explore, explore, explore. By Tianxin - Year 10
