Principal Post

Dear Families,
Today marks the beginning of Lent. Across this next 40 days before Easter, we are invited to on journey of transformation. It is an opportunity to reflect and to confront all that 'creates distance between us and God'. We are invited to be present to God and to embrace the path of mercy and hope.
Our school celebrated with the parishioners at the Ash Wednesday Mass this morning. There will be another Mass for parishioners this evening at 7pm.
School Closure Day Friday 7th March
This is a friendly reminder that school will be CLOSED on Friday, March 7th, to allow our staff to participate in a professional learning day. The focus of the day will be on building a knowledge-rich curriculum designed to enhance student learning and success.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to strengthen our instructional practices and provide the best possible learning experiences for our students.
Thank You for Attending Last Week’s Meet and Greet Interviews
A big thank you to all the families who attended last week’s Meet and Greet Interviews! Your participation is invaluable in building strong connections between home and school. These conversations allow us to better understand your child, ensuring that we can provide the best possible support for their learning.
We firmly believe that a strong partnership between school and family is key to a student’s success, and we’re excited to continue working together to create a positive and enriching experience for every child.
World Day of Prayer
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide ecumenical movement of women of many faith traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year on the first Friday in March. (This Friday) Throughout the entire day, we collectively pray all over the world, beginning with the first sunrise and ending at the last sunset. Our prayers follow the sun’s path around the globe. WDP’s motto is “Informed prayer leads to prayerful action.” Through World Day of Prayer, women affirm that prayer and action are inseparable and that both have immeasurable influence in the world.

We are happy to confirm that in 2024, the Parents and Friends committee raised $15,000 profit through fundraising efforts and events.
With a portion of the profits being used to purchase the 4 amazing marquees seen at last year's sports day and the remainder contributing towards the next goal of purchasing shade to go over the fake grassed area. and play equipment.
While the fundraising events created fun for the school community, both purchases that will see our community being sun safe for years to come.
