MAG Riders Shine at Scots Schools Albury Equestrian Interschools Challenge

On Thursday 21 February and Friday 22 February, eleven enthusiastic riders and their families attended the popular Equestrian Interschools Challenge, hosted by The Scots School in Albury. Representing Moama Anglican Grammar, the team was supported by Miss Briggs and Miss Sweetnam as team managers, with Mr Downward also joining them on Thursday.

The MAG base camp was a hub of activity, offering a refreshing esky filled with ice-cold drinks, a lolly station and even a carrot bucket for the ponies! The team also enjoyed a fun pizza night together during the event.

Competitors took part in a variety of disciplines, including dressage, showing, novelties, handy mount, sporting and showjumping. Despite the heat, the riders displayed remarkable resilience, determination and outstanding team spirit, cheering each other on throughout the competition. The event was filled with highlights, from beaming smiles to personal goals achieved.

MAG finished an impressive 9th overall—an achievement to be proud of! Congratulations to all our riders for their effort, sportsmanship, and for getting out there with their ponies.
