Call for Nominations: HSC Presiding Officer & Exam Supervisors
We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to fill key roles for the 2025 HSC exam period, as outlined by NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority). If you are passionate about supporting our students and ensuring a smooth, fair examination process, we invite you to nominate yourself for the following positions:
HSC Presiding Officer
The HSC Presiding Officer is responsible for overseeing the entire examination process. This role involves ensuring compliance with NESA HSC regulations, supervising exam supervisors, and maintaining a secure, supportive environment for all students.
The presiding officer must have high ethical standards to uphold the integrity of the HSC exams, be well-organised, have good attention to detail and be able to effectively manage students and a team of supervisors. To learn more about the Presiding Officer eligibility and requirements, click here.
Exam Supervisors
Exam Supervisors are crucial to the smooth running of each exam session. They will be responsible for monitoring students, ensuring exam conditions are met and managing the orderly conduct of exams. Exam supervisors follow the directions of the Presiding Officer.
Please note that exam supervisors are required to be available at certain times during the HSC examination period which runs from 16 October 2025 to 7 November 2025.
Volunteer Readers and Scribes
We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to act as scribes and readers during the exam period.
