ICAS testing opportunities at Our Lady Star of the Sea

Each year, the University of New South Wales conducts the International Competitions and Assessments known as ICAS. I am delighted to inform you that Our Lady Star of the Sea will be participating in ICAS again this year. 

This year, we are excited to offer students from Years 3 to Year 6 the opportunity to participate in examinations in Mathematics, English, Science and Digital Technologies. Participation for Year 2 students will be by invitation only.

The ICAS assessments are scheduled for August this year. Please note that the tests will be administered before school, starting at 7:50 am. If you would like your child to participate, it will be the parents' responsibility to ensure that your child is dropped off for testing at this time.

You will have the opportunity to nominate your child to take the ICAS assessments in Term 2. Please continue to check Compass, along with the fortnightly Newsletter, for updates regarding ICAS.
