Family and Faith

What a wonderful few weeks we have shared with many celebrations in our school community. Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, School Sacrament Registration Mass and yesterday The Sisters of St Joseph’s visit to our school. 

All these events have been well received and attended by our greater school community-  furthermore, so many parents have generously given their time to prepare, cook and serve students and community with delicious food. 

Thank you to all those who were able to assist, “Our Love Is Not Just Words, But Something Real and Active”. John 3:18.

A reminder of some of the family and faith activities for you to engage with during Term 1, 2025:

• SPaR - Stop, Pray and Reflect held in the Church with each year group, Year 1 Tuesday 18th March at 2pm, Year 2 Tuesday 1st April at 2pm, Year 3 Tuesday 8th April at 2pm.
• Lenten Prayer Group- Every Thursday at 2pm Lower Parish Centre, all welcome.
• PLAYGROUP- Every Friday at 9:20 am in the Lower Parish Centre, all welcome

SPaR in the Church with Kindergarten

This week some parents and carers and the students from Kindergarten gathered as a community in the church to stop, pray, and reflect. Kinder children were able to get to know God’s house and learn about our church on a deeper level. 

Each student was also presented with their own Cuddle Cross and an Our Lady Star of the Sea Prayer book to keep and learn more about their faith and God’s love.
