Around the Grounds

In their final games for the season both Green and Gold had good wins, with Gold defeating the Harden Hornets, while Green were to good for the Gecko Sports Smashers.

George Manion and Jacob Halls were the topscorers for Gold, while George Manion also took 3 wickets with the ball, while for Green, William Cross, Patrick Smith and Digby Merriman top scored with the bat, with Digby taking 4 wickets.

A big shout out to young William Miller who proudly told me at the show that he took 2 wickets and 15 runs, including his first ever 6.. Now that's what sport is all about.
