Visual Arts

Foundation students have been learning the colours of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. They have developed their fine motor skills by scrunching, ripping, sticking, pasting and colouring. 

Year 1 and 2 students have been using the coil clay technique to create and sculpt clay wall hangings. These will be fired in the kiln in the coming weeks.

Year 3 and 4 students have spent the term looking at Australian artists. This week they have been looking at the paintings of Albert Namatjira and using his work as inspiration for their own paintings.

Performing Arts

Year 1 and 2 students have been learning new songs and dances and practicing rhythm and pitch.
