BOOK WEEK 

A reminder to all of our families that next week is Book Week. This is always a highlight of our school year.  We have authors coming to visit, a scavenger hunt, and our wonderful parade. Parents you are welcome to visit your child's classroom after the parade.

Make sure you get your costumes sorted this weekend!  If you need some inspiration see below!  

ICAS

This week we have commenced our ICAS testing and have completed the Digital Technologies tests. 

Next week we will run the English tests, followed by Science in Week 6 and Mathematics in Week 7. 

The results of the tests will be available for parents two weeks from the Friday of the week of the tests. E.g. Digital Technologies - finishes today so the results will be available on the 21st of August.  We will provide instructions on how to access your results for those who have done the tests before and will provide the unique ID for you to access if it is your child's first time in doing the tests.  The unique ID is the same for all tests. 

Prime Ministers Spelling Bee

Last week 131 of our Year 3,4,5 and 6 students were selected to participate in the Prime Ministers Spelling Bee.  We are now awaiting to hear if any of our wonderful spellers progress into the State Finals. Congratulations to our students who participated. They encountered many tricky spelling words! 

School Pride

A big thank you to 3KW who headed outside today and did a massive clean up of the yard.  Great job 3KW!

Nude Food

Nude Food Reminder Video

A big thank you to Olivia L, Amelie L and Xin Bei L for creating a wonderful video to remind our school community the importance of bring Nude Food each day.   In the video the students highlight the importance of not bringing in rubbish and also the cost savings of buying in bulk.
