From the Library

It has been busy in the library again, with NAIDOC Week celebrations and Make & Take Craft Club activities.

For NAIDOC Week, we had a display which featured poetry reflections of First Nations authors as part of the Year 11 Literature Voices to Country subject. We also had activities available during lunchtimes including customising wooden decorations and NAIDOC themed colouring in. The Student Leadership Team and Student Services Team also ran a NAIDOC themed iron-on patches workshop in the library. It was a wonderful week with the school community coming together to recognise and celebrate First Nations excellence.

During Make & Take Craft Club we decorated calico pouches with fabric markers and made friendship bracelets. The talent and immense creativity of our crafters never fails to impress and amaze.
