Disability Pride Week

Celebrating Disability Pride Week at Northcote High School

This week, Northcote High School is proudly celebrating Disability Pride Week, a time to recognise, celebrate and value the diversity, achievements and contributions of people living with disabilities.

Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of activities designed to promote inclusion, challenge stereotypes and celebrate disability as an important part of human diversity. Keep an eye out for our library display, classroom activities and other events happening around the school.

To finish the week, our Student Leadership Team will be holding a Bake Sale on Friday at lunchtime. Every purchase will help raise funds for Inclusion Melbourne, an organisation that works alongside people with intellectual disabilities to create opportunities for inclusion, connection and meaningful participation in the community.

Whether you join in an activity, learn something new or simply stop by the bake sale for a treat, we encourage everyone to get involved and help celebrate a school community where everyone belongs.

We look forward to seeing you throughout the week!
