Student Services: Careers

Welcome back to Term 3. This term sees us focusing very much on working with our Year 12 cohort as they research and plan for their first steps out of school.  

It was great to have so many Year 12 parents attend the VTAC information briefing on Wednesday evening, despite the inclement weather! Year 12 students had their first briefing on Friday and we will follow up with more detailed information on the VTAC process. 

UNIVERSITY OPEN DAYS – YR 10-12 STUDENTS 

University Open Days kicked off last weekend with Swinburne. Over the next month students have the opportunity to attend campuses and learn more about course offerings and student experiences.  

YEAR 9 MORRISBY PROGRAM  

The event for Year 9 Morrisby program is now live in Compass and we are asking parent to approve their participation in the program. Students will be completing their initial assessment on Monday 7th September and all Year 9 students who complete their Morrisby assessment will have a follow up interview with a careers practitioner in late October.

STUDENTS NEED TO BRING APPLICATIONS DIRECTLY TO DORA IN CAREERS/STUDENT SERVICES.  

BEFORE SCHOOL, RECESS OR LUNCHTIME ARE THE BEST TIMES.
