100 Days of Foundation

Foundation children reach 100 Days of School!

Last Friday, our Foundation students celebrated the exciting milestone of 100 Days of School! 

Children came to school dressed in a wonderful variety of costumes, including 100 year old people, outfits inspired by the number ‘100’ and even a 100 year old tree!

Throughout the day, the children took part in a range of fun maths activities to celebrate reaching 100 days of learning. They brought in collections of 100 items from home (pasta, playing cards, beads, M&M’s, gumnuts) and practised counting them efficiently by organising their collections into groups of 10. This helped the children see how grouping makes it easier to count larger collections accurately and quickly.

It was a fantastic day of learning and celebration. Congratulations to all of our Foundation students on reaching this very special milestone. We are so proud of all you have achieved in your first 100 days of school!
